About the Winery
Storybook Mountain's tradition of producing fine wines began in the early 1880s, when its red clay-loam soils were first planted to Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, Storybook Mountain's sought-after wines are hand-crafted from its organically-farmed estate grapes. These balanced wines have the appeal to be enjoyed in their youth, the depth to age gracefully, and the quality to be ranked among the finest wines in the world. Visiting Storybook includes a walking tour of the vineyards followed by an intimate wine tasting in 125-year-old caves.
